Author Information

Paul Barker

Paul Barker teaches political science at Brescia University College, London, Ontario. Professor Barker received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. He has written articles on public policy that have appeared in Canadian Public Administration, Canadian Public Policy, and the Canadian Journal of Law and Society.

Tim Mau

Tim A. Mau is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph, where he teaches primarily in the area of public management and administration. His current research interests lie in the area of public sector (administrative) leadership. Dr. Mau has published articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics, including the use of public sector leadership competencies, leadership in the Canadian military, scandal and corruption, French-English relations in business interest associations, and nationalist mobilization in Quebec and Scotland. He is a co-editor (with O.P. Dwivedi and Byron Sheldrick) of The Evolving Physiology of Government: Canadian Public Administration in Transition (Ottawa: Ottawa University Press, 2009), and (with Neelam Trivedi, Dhirendra Vajpeyi and S.P. Dwivedi) of Perspectives on Governance and Society (Jaipur: Rawat Publications, 2013).
